I am filled with sadness. Jim was an honest and hard working man, true to his wife and friends. We shared an apartment in Norwalk once, and had some great times. May God bless you Jim.

Dear Friends and Family, Attached is a photo of our dog Buddy (English Creme Golden Retreiver) and his friend Brutus ( Black Labrador Retreiver) ..good friends who love to play! and are taking a much needed break. The photo was given to me by Brutus's dad Buck. I will treasure this photo forever! Just like these two dogs who loved each other, we too need to be loving and appreciate each day with each other. ..Rest in Peace, my beloved husband James...words can not express how much I will miss you....Joanne Beldotti

Jim was my brother-in-law while Marty and I were married.
I liked Jim so much.
We all spent time together at family holidays. Jim, Joanne, Marty and I took some weekend trips together, including a ski adventure where Jim was a wonderful ski coach for Marty.....no spills and no broken bones!
Jim had a good heart and wonderful smile..... with his smile, it would be impossible to not be touched by happiness. I have a clear snapshot in my mind of Jim on his wedding day, a clear blue sky behind him, smiling at his bride with so much love. I feel so lifted up when I see that moment in my mind..
As a carpenter, Jim's work expressed an abundance of intelligence and artistry. Both of these qualities are required for the level of work he achieved. I watched when he helped us with our home. . he would look, measure, visualize and then pick up his tools with care, ready to achieve as close to perfection as he could get.
And, all of us who have seen Jim with his dogs, Southpaw and now Buddy saw the goodness and love in his heart.
The world is a smaller place without him.
Merilyn

I only knew Jim during high school because he was at my bus stop and my brother was pals with Mike. But I remember him being a super nice guy. To the whole family - I'm sorry for your loss. Too young and too much life left unlived. I hope there are good memories to carry you through.
Love from Jean (Breslow) and family.

I met jim in 1987 when my husband and I were dating. Over the years we became very close as he came to visit us in Virginia at least once or twice a year. Jim had an uncanny ability to remember trivia. I enjoyed watching jeopardy with him when he visited because he knew so many answers. He always prepared eggplant parm on his visits and my adult kids would be sure to come home if Jim was cooking. He loved to play disc golf and he loved to hike with his dogs. He loved skiing and went on an annual ski trip with my husband. In 2020 we had the good fortune of joining Jim and Joanne in Cabo where we had a wonderful time. I’m including a few pictures of Jim deep sea fishing with pete in Cabo. Jim was a good friend to my husband and to our entire family. I will miss him tremendously.
