I will always remember how kind and generous Mr. Harris (Fuzzy) was to me and my family when I was growing up. His son Michale and I were great friends when we were kids and we spent much of our youth together. Although we’ve lost track of each other over the many years that have since past, I will never forget how much being a friend to the Harris family meant to me. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Harris family during this time of sadness and loss.

Pat, Kim, John and Family:
Russ and I are sending love and prayers. We were very sorry to hear of Fuzzy's passing. Last I saw Fuzzy was at Stamford Hospital when my mom was ill. We had a short, but very enjoyable chat. I remember thinking, he is a tough one, he will be home again soon and he was. He was such a fighter. The only comfort I can give you is that he no longer has to fight. He is at peace. We are sending you all prayers for healing and peace.

I will never forget the many years my family lived side by side with our cousins the Harris's in the two-family house on Robert Court. I remember well the 4-inch circular metal frame in the yard that in the summer held an above ground pool but one winter Fuzzy filled it with water and it froze into a skating rink. It was my first time ever on ice skates. I must have been about 6. I remember going out on the boat. I remember the morning he brought over the german shepard police dog. Boy was that thing scary! Fuzzy was extremely good at woodworking and he used to make easter baskets in the shape of bunny heads with big ears standing up. I remember he took Tommy under his wing and taught him all about carpentry tools. When I was 17 years old Fuzzy got me out of a driving snafu. He just made the paperwork go away. God bless him. He had a great smile. He was good to my entire family. I will never forget him. Rest in peace Fuzzy. My condolences to Patty, Kim, Michael and the whole family. Much love.
